The test proctor is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the technician certification testing events.

 

     The agreement must be completed and signed prior to processing orders for certification exams.  You need only to complete this form once.  Proctors shall become thoroughly familiar with and follow these policies and procedures of the certification program at all times.

 

     As an exam Proctor, I will:

 

1)       Register all tests events in advance with NORA.  Information needed, will include date, company name, location, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address and approximate number of technicians attending the testing event.

 

2)       Notify NORA Education Center of any cancellation of test events.

 

3)       Be responsible for receiving the test materials from the NORA Education Center and, without at any time breaking the package seal, place the tests and answer booklets in locked storage until the test event.

 

4)       Transport the test and answer booklets to the test site with due diligence.

 

5)       Not review test and answer booklets.

 

6)       Not reveal test content to any person.

 

7)       Not reproduce any test material.

 

8)       Prior to distribution of the tests, space the students in a manner which discourages cheating.

 

9)       Assure the work space is clear of any notes and training materials.

 

10)   Conduct the test event in a quiet and secure environment, allowing no person to enter the room, and allowing only one person at a time to leave the room during testing without any materials or exams.

 

11)   Explain the procedures for taking the exam and ensure that the test and answer booklets are not opened prior to complete distribution.

 

12)   Verify the identity of each student by checking photo identification (driver’s license, government identification cards, passports, military identification, etc.)

 

13)   Collect all completed and incomplete examination booklets (making sure all examination booklets are sealed), place them in locked storage and the next working day send the examination booklets to the NORA Education Center by next day courier.

 

14)   Not assign or transfer proctor responsibility to other persons.

 

15)   Permit inspection by NORA of the test event.

 

16)   Comply with this agreement in its entirety.
