Proctors
An individual who oversees the certification test. Proctors make sure that the technician understands what is expected of them and that all testing is conducted according to NORA standards. Proctors are a very important part of the NORA Certification program. They are the individuals that insure that the highest integrity is maintained in NORA's testing program and that students thoroughly understand the testing process and what is expected of them. To become a Proctor, you must have a valid NORA certification. Silver Proctor must be Silver or Gold certified and every Gold Proctor must Gold certified. Proctor Levels For the Bronze certification, a certificate or diploma from a NORA certified school. For the Silver Certification, a letter on company stationary signed by the owner/manager that this individual has a minimum of three years field experience as an Oilheat technician and has met the minimum requirement of 100 hours of education. For the Gold Certification, proof of Silver certification and a letter from the owner/manager that this individual has a minimum of five years field experience as an Oilheat technician and has met the minimum requirement of 120 hours of education. 1) Fill out three Application Forms 2) Send to:
