NORA’s Consumer Education takes place in several different media outlets to inform the consumer that Oilheat is a clean, safe and efficient.

Professional education provides continuing education, training, and certification for Oilheat service technicians.

NORA funding for Research & Development has helped manufacturers develop highly efficient heating equipment, such as condensing boilers and furnaces, variable speed furnaces, variable burners and other technologically advanced, highly efficient products.NORA also funds projects at Brookhaven National Laboratory, including research concerning tank and storage issues, new heating methods and BioFuels.
